Wells Fargo's Student Impact Scholarship - AVAILABLE SEPT. 14
Apply for the Wells Fargo Student Impact Scholarship!
If you're a student working to make an impact in your community but have been financially impacted by the pandemic, apply for an opportunity to receive a $5K Wells Fargo Student Impact Scholarship. Recipients will also have the opportunity to be paired with a Wells Fargo mentor.
Scholarship applications open September 14 through October 2, 2020.
How to apply:
1. Head to wellsfargo.com/impactscholarship to determine your eligibility.
2. Begin your application by answering questions about you, your financial picture, and your community efforts.
3. Create a short video or essay describing how your efforts are impacting your community.
Share your story of community impact on social using #ImpactMakers.
Qualifications & Requirements
To be eligible you must:
1. Be intending to enroll or continue enrollment as a degree-seeking undergraduate student at an accredited U.S. college or university in Spring 2021
2. Have been financially impacted by COVID-19 and have demonstrated financial need
3. Have taken action towards uplifting and empowering your community in 2020
4. Be a citizen, national, legal permanent resident of the United States, or a Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) beneficiary. Citizens of the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of Palau and the Republic of the Marshall Islands are also eligible to apply.
5. Have applied for the 2020-2021 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) if legally applicable.
6. Complete the online application by the deadline
You will be asked to submit:
1. Application - the online application including essay or video
2. Transcript - an unofficial copy of your most recent transcript
3. Student Aid Report - your 2020-2021 FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR)
4. [For DACA students only] Valid Employment Authorization Document (EAD) through December 15, 2020
